Aims

Evolving from the previous three-year MFA in Film, Television and Digital Media, this newly restructured programme aims to nurture a new cadre of filmmakers and media professionals who are artistically gifted and technologically astute, with a strong grasp of how AI and virtual production can revolutionize storytelling. These individuals will be well-equipped to employ these sophisticated tools to craft narratives that captivate modern audiences and expand the scope of conventional storytelling.

More specifically the programme aims to:

  1. Enhance the expertise of media workers and university graduates by providing a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience in film, television, and new media;
  2. Deepen students’ knowledge of emerging technologies;
  3. Integrate traditional storytelling with the latest technological advances, ensuring graduates can produce high-quality content across diverse media forms; and
  4. Prepare students to meet the demands of contemporary content creation and distribution.
