
Major/Concentration/Minor
Major / Transdisciplinary Second Major / Second Major
The University offers students with three learning pathways, including the structured, transdisciplinary, and personalized pathways. In general, a major consists of a minimum of 60 units. The major will be shown on a student’s diploma and academic transcript.
Students of designated programmes admitted in the academic year 2024/25 and thereafter will have the opportunity to take a Transdisciplinary Second Major or a Second Major on top of their first major, through a more flexible and adaptive undergraduate curriculum.

Concentration
Concentration refers to a specific area of specialization offered within a student’s Major programme of study. It consists of 21 to 45 units. The Concentration will be shown on a student’s academic transcript.

Minor refers to a focused area of study or a specific study programme of a student’s own choice outside the student’s Major programme of study. It consists of a minimum of 15 units. The Minor will be shown on a student’s academic transcript.
