MTR Student Travel Scheme
New / Renewal Application of the Student Octopus Card for Academic Year 2024/25 (For all UGC-funded UG programmes)
Online Application: 9:00 a.m., 15 August 2024 onwards
Paper Application*: 1 September 2024 onwards
Application details: please refer to the poster and lazy pack provided by MTR.
Important remarks:
- Students are advised to submit their application as soon as the online application platform is opened to enjoy the concessionary fares.
- Students who are holding the previously approved Personalised Octopus with “Student Status”, the concession will expire no earlier than 31 October 2024.

* Applicants can download an application form or obtain the form [MTR Student Travel Scheme Application Form (Academic year 2024 / 2025)] at any MTR Customer Service Centre except Airport Express stations, Lo Wu, Lok Ma Chau, Racecourse, Disneyland Resort, Sunny Bay, Wong Chuk Hang, Lei Tung, South Horizons, Hin Keng, Kai Tak, Sung Wong Toi and To Kwa Wan stations or the Concessionary Travel Office in Admiralty, Tai Wai, or Siu Hong stations from 1 September 2024 and submit the completed application form along with a photo and the application fee to any MTR Customer Service Center within 14 days of obtaining the school chop.
