Graduation Requirement (for Senior Year Entrants)

Graduation Requirements for undergraduate students include:

1. University General Requirements

• A minimum of 36 units of courses (including honours project) at Levels 3 and 4;
• University Core courses  (13 units) (under "University Core" in University Student Handbook);
• General Education courses (18 units);
• University Life Programme (non-credit bearing);
• Foundation Putonghua proficiency

2. Programme Requirements

Students are required to fulfil their respective programme requirements listed in the University Student Handbook at the year of their admission, or in some instances where revisions have occurred, the revised requirements available at the University Information System (BUniPort) or as advised by their Department Head or Programme Director.
 
 

3. Unit and Grade Point Average (GPA) Requirements

Students are required to obtain the total number of units required by the programme and to attain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 for graduation.
