Education Verification
(for use of prospective employers of HKBU students/graduates)

This Education Verification Application System (EVAS) is for prospective employers to submit requests on verifying the credentials of our students/graduates at undergraduate level. A report confirming the degree awarded and the year of graduation, if applicable, will be sent to the organization concerned by email.
The verification may take 5 working days after receipt of the application with a valid authorization letter. For students who graduated prior to 1989, the process may take 2 weeks or longer.
To use EVAS, the following information/document should be provided:
- The student/graduate's full name, date of birth and/or identification number; and
- An authorization letter* signed by the student/graduate.
* The letter must be dated, signed by the student/graduate and issued within 3 months from the date of the request. It should include the Name of the Organization making the request, the student’s HKID Number and/or Date of Birth.
For more information about the student’s academic standing and results, please ask the student/graduate to apply for a copy of testimonial and/or transcript to be sent to you directly.
