Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Communication
Programme Director: Prof Kara K W Chan

The Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Communication offers a variety of ways to explore the exciting field of communication, and equips graduates with the skills required to embark on stimulating and meaningful careers, postgraduate studies, or both. All Majors are designed in the spirit of the University's tradition of "whole-person education", and more than half the units in every Major are devoted to General Education (GE) courses or to courses of the student's free choice anywhere in the University. Students spend the first year of the four-year programme mainly covering required GE courses, and have the opportunity to take two common School courses that will help them choose their Major, which takes place during the second semester. Possible Double Majors or Major-Minor combinations are also available.
