The Department of Management is responsible for core management courses required in the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) degree programme, such as Organizational Behaviour, Strategic Management, and several business elective courses, including Cross-cultural and Comparative Management and Applied Social Psychology in Organizations. The Department houses the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) degree - Human Resources Management (HRM) concentration. Combining the academic rigour of a business education with professional preparation, the HRM concentration meets the career needs of human resources professionals in the local business community. Alumni work as HR professionals in various sectors in Hong Kong and are granted professional status by the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management. In addition, the Department of Management offers the Master of Science in Strategic Human Resources Management degree and the Master of Human Resources Management.

The Department includes international and local faculty many of whom, in addition to their academic credentials, have practitioner backgrounds. Staff members are active in conducting research and consultancy.
