Minor Programme in Applied Mathematics
 

Students seeking to pursue the study of a minor programme would need to fulfil 15 units of courses specified by the offering department/programme, and note that no registration priority will be given to enrolment in minor courses. Upon completion of the 15 units required for the minor programmes, students should apply to the Academic Registry for approval.

MATH 2140 Numerical Methods I 3 units
         
Elective Courses 12 units
  One of the following courses:  
  MATH 1111 Mathematical Analysis I 3 units
  MATH 1550 Calculus & Linear Algebra 3 units
  MATH 1570 Advanced Calculus 3 units
  MATH 1590 Calculus & Linear Algebra for Chemistry 3 units
  One of the following courses:  
  MATH 1120 Linear Algebra 3 units
  MATH 1140 Computational Mathematics 3 units
  Two of the following courses*:  
  MATH course** 3 units
  SCI 2910 Logistics-Planning, Management & Analysis 3 units
  SCI 3210 Simulation 3 units
  SCI 3530 Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations 3 units
  SCI 3710 Digital Image Analysis 3 units
