The MA in Television Communication Management is a self-funded full-time two-year master's degree programme designed for media professionals working at management level. The programme is by structure on-job training, and by content, fusion of academic perspective and industrial practice. It offers new vision in television culture, new perspectives in television management, and high level professional training for the existing managerial level staff of the mass media sector in mainland China, so that they can tackle the challenge of Chinese media industry in the 21st century. For graduation, students must complete 27 units (15 units of core courses, 3 units of final project, and 9 out of 12 units of elective courses). Students achieved a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and completed the graduation project will be awarded an MA Degree in Television Communication Management by Hong Kong Baptist University. Only those students who have obtained B or above in at least 3 courses are eligible to do the final project. Those who failed to obtain B or above in at least 3 courses will be given the option of completing a dissertation to obtain an MA degree without honors or distinctions. |

All students are required to complete a total of 27 units for the award of an MA degree. Each unit-bearing course counts as 3 units. A 3-unit course involves 45 hours of teaching.
