China Business Studies Concentration
 

Doing business with China and in China requires additional understanding of the business environment of the country, and in many instances this calls for different rules of operation. Traditional business training, by itself, is inadequate in preparing executives for making effective China-business decisions.

The BBA (Hons) degree programme with the concentration in China Business Studies (CBS) integrates a broadly-based business studies programme that emphasizes modern management concepts and practices, with a systematic treatment of the socio-cultural, institutional, operational and behavioural aspects of China business.

Graduates from CBS concentration will have a clear understanding of the cultural background, economic structure, legal framework and business environment of China. In addition, they are also equipped with a working knowledge of conducting China business, communicating with Chinese organizations, and making business and management decisions in complex China business environments.
