Minor Programme in Applied Economics (For Non-BBA Students)
 

Students seeking to pursue the study of a minor programme would need to fulfil 15 units of courses specified by the offering department/programme, and note that no registration priority will be given to enrolment in minor courses. Upon completion of the 15 units required for the minor programmes, students should apply to the Academic Registry for approval.

Students must take at least 3 units of Level III course. Non-BBA students who want to take ECON 2110 Intermediate Microeconomics and/or ECON 2120 Intermediate Macroeconomics must take ECON 1210 Principles of Microeconomics and ECON 1220 Principles of Macroeconomics in lieu of ECON 1620 Basic Economic Principles as required courses. Students who have taken any of the above courses in their major programme have to take additional elective course(s) to fulfil the minor programme requirement.
