Minor Programme in Global and China Business (For Non-BBA Students)
 

Students seeking to pursue the study of a minor programme would need to fulfil 15 units of courses specified by the offering department/programme, with at least one course (3 units) at Level 3 or 4. Note that no registration priority will be given to enrolment in minor courses. Upon completion of the 15 units required for the minor programmes, students should apply to the Academic Registry for approval.

 
The structure of the curriculum is as follows:

  BUSI 1005 The World of Business 3 units
  BUSI 3017 International Business 3 units
  GLCB 2005 Understanding China Business Environments 3 units
 
II. Elective Courses 6 units
  Two of the following courses:  
  BUSI 3015 Business Management in China 3 units
  ECON 3026 Chinese Economic Developments 3 units
  GLCB 3005 Global Business Research 3 units
  GLCB 4005 Seminar in Global & China Business 3 units
  GLCB 4006 Managing Global Business 3 units
  GLCB 4007 Practice of International Trade & Investment 3 units
  HRMN 4007 Human Resources Management in China 3 units
  LLAW 3006 Legal Aspects of China Business 3 units
  MKTG 2005 Marketing Management 3 units
  MKTG 3006 Global Marketing 3 units
  MKTG 4025 Marketing in China 3 units

Students who have taken any of the above courses in their major programmes have to take additional elective course(s) to fulfil the minor programme requirement.
