Non Local Applicants
Under normal circumstances, the University starts to select suitable candidates for interview/ test between February and July. Short-listed applicants will be invited to attend an interview/ test and will be informed of interview details, such as date, time, venue and format by email/ phone/ SMS/ Applicant Enquiry System
Applicants who are unable to attend the interview/ test as scheduled should contact us
in advance. However, applicants are strongly recommended to attend the scheduled interview/ test, as alternative arrangements are not always possible. For overseas applicants who are not available in Hong Kong, telephone/ online interview may be arranged if applicable.
For direct (Non-JUPAS) applicants who apply on the strength of diversified academic qualifications, the University adopts a holistic approach in selecting applicants for interview/ test on a case-by-case basis. Applicants’ academic performance in public examinations and post-secondary education, professional qualifications and non-academic achievements are considered in selecting applicants for interview/ test. There is no definite cut-off score/ cGPA/ grade in short-listing applicants for interview. Admission is considered competitive where the number of qualified applicants regularly exceeds the number of seats available.
Applicants who satisfy the minimum entrance requirements are eligible to apply. However, owing to keen competition, not all qualified applicants are offered admission.
