Course Registration and Withdrawal
Withdrawing from Courses
Permission to withdraw from courses after the deadline for dropping courses will only be given under exceptional circumstances, such as a student is suffering from physical, personal or academic problems, or other unforeseen circumstances deemed acceptable to the course instructor concerned and the Academic Registrar.
Students who wish to withdraw a course can submit Application for Course Withdrawal, which has been endorsed by the course instructor at least four weeks before the commencement of the semester examination to the Academic Registry.
Course approved for withdrawal by the Academic Registrar will be assigned a 'W' grade in the academic transcript. Grade 'W' will not be included in GPA calculation.
Students will be informed of the application result via email.
